LYRICS:

These branches of thought
bare poisonous fruit.
These Branches of analysis
don't have a truthful root.

Version of events,
played through with a tainted hue.
The other colours all bleed out.
Smoke rises up my flue.

Sending my brain smoke signals
that get read badly.
I autopilot through the day,
madly and sadly.

But the atmosphere of this place
Is fresh and crisp and clean.
I'm wearing a hazmat suits
protecting from a world that I deem mean.

I'm trapping myself inside,
Sealing myself in this costume.
This depressing skin is air tight,
allowing this disease to consume

The fleshy, blood filled parts
of who I want to be.
Leaving behind a skeleton,
a bare and empty me.

My eyes go white and cold
Skin grows over my mouth
My innocence had been sold
nothingness replaced the screams and shouts


With no real way to communicate
I talk inside of himself
whole interior worlds to contemplate
while ignoring my own health

They found me curled like a fetus
wailing, in my hand a knife
something had snapped, some weakness
I'd made a new mouth to cry about my life

everyone around me
misunderstands what's coming from my lips
Yes I have fashioned a new mouth
but I've made it out of zips

Lowest common denominator.
I've been atomised.
But, I can pull myself back together,
you'd be surprised.

How long will it last?
That's another question.
It depends on how quick I can put on my hazmat suit
of emotional compression.
